Femap is a Siemens PLM Software pre-and postprocessor independent from CAD for engineering analysis using the Finite Element Method (FEM) (Finite Element Analysis - FEA). Femap is the link between the user and the solver - the kernel that performs calculations in engineering analysis tasks. Integrated with the NX Nastran solver, the Femap system is part of the Velocity Series product line and is an independent, full-featured environment for modeling, simulating and evaluating product performance analysis results. Femap 11.3 x64 on the basis of the NX Nastran 10p2 x64 solver allows analyzing the dynamics and strength of structures, machines and structures, obtaining a solution of non-stationary non-linear spatial problems, problems of the mechanics of composites and composite structures, building and technological mechanics, analyzing heat transfer, and solving problems of fluid mechanics and gas related multidisciplinary tasks.
