Creating Custom Families in Revit
In this series of tutorials, we'll go over how to create a custom family in Revit 2014. We'll begin with a stepping concept for our custom casework design. From there, we'll open a casework template and begin adjusting and placing some reference planes. Once we have planes in place, we will begin modeling the basic form of our design by working with the extrusion tool. Finally, once our form is in place, we'll use additional forming tools like void, revolve and swept blend to transform our basic shape to a more realistic looking family. By the end of this course you'll gain a real appreciation for being able to create customized a parametric family of your own using Revit 2014.
