What kind of error can you explain?
the operating system must be completely unprotected so that you can have freedom of permissions before you can install the smartkey emulator

When I open the install in the emulator folder, it gives a devcon failed error, but my firewall is off.

Hello, first of all "secure boot" has to be disabled in BIOS. Run "test mode" script, restart PC then install smartkey drivers, and try to install emulator again. Check if "Memory Integrity" (Core Isolation) is turned off in your system - also require restart. Good luck.

You dont have to turn off your Firewall, just block Caligola.exe through it to stop getting new releases popups.
