Spliting Model Elements In Revit 2020 With Dynamo 2.1
Learn how to split, join and recreate revit elements for project management and how to give a proper track back
What you'll learn
How to split, Walls, Floors, Columns, Framing, and multiples elements to be part of a zone or location object.
How to set up location blocks and get intersection with splatted elements
Use this content with other courses to manage your elements.
Requirements
Need to know how to model in Autodesk Revit
Need to know some Dynamo Knowledge
Need to be familiar with zoning requirements and splitting limitations of Revit
Description
This course it’s part of a new series of developments towards bringing Dynamo as main platform tool on BIM processes for any type of project.A lot of projects are disconnected between design construction and project management so a lot of time its wasted on dividing, following and keeping track of changes.
On this course we will learn how we can set up packages, split elements and maintain relation between different versions of files.
We will start with a very very general overview of dynamo, and from there going deeper and depending on some custom nodes we will review how to modify revit elements and particularly split the or join them how ever its the case.
Dynamo its expanding on Autodesk Software's, its now available on Civil 3d, Form it, Alias, and Advanced Steel, and as far as I had research possibilities still remain endless so next series of courses would explore the limits of Dynamo for all users on several workflows.
This course was develop by a client’s requirement to speed up dynamo learning focused for project management because they needed to split the model every week and it wasn't possible to update the split-ed models because it was handled by different teams.
This course it’s designed for Middle Dynamo Users so they can create with the Practical BIM Nodes and jump into customize the scripts the way they need it Dynamo its been used all over the world for speeding up Revit Models, Enabling impossible modeling, Project Management, QTOS and Documents, and to set around workflows between different types.
Unravel your full potential for Modeling and Programming and enjoy at any time the freedom of possibilities to make technology work the way you need it to.Take advantage of posting questions, and join on all channels to be up todate for all the amazing possibilities that in any time can transform your way of working, to change it forever
