Requirements
Prior experience using Revit, this course is not for absolute beginners
Revit 2022
Description
This course is aimed at advanced users.
I suppose you have prior experience using Revit when taking this class.
This class is focused only on one topic and that is Walls.
We will discuss everything there is to know about walls in Revit.
I am using Revit 2022 version in this course.
You will get many tips from my workflows on limitations and usability of different tools, because the fact that the tool is available in Revit, doesn´t necessarily mean that it is usable.
We will take a look at the importance of the location line in walls, and how it affects the behavior of walls, we will talk about attaching and detaching of wall, what are the use cases and limitations of this tool.
Next we will take a look at editing a wall profile and we will learn when i tis better to use attach or edit profile tools.
We will talk about inserts in walls and how they behave on the threshold of two wall with different thickness.
Next we will learn in depth about wall joins, how they work and what are the limitations.
We will also learn about wall sweeps, reveals, slanted, tapered and stacked walls.
We will talk really in detail about the compound structure of walls and vertical structure of walls as well as about layer wrapping.
We will also take a look at the impact of the tools on scheduling.
Last but not least i will give you extra tips on walls that i have gathered while working on my projects.
