Management concerns everybody. Because managers use the resources of the society.
We are either managers or being managed by a manager.
This is a course on industrial management for everbody but especially for engineers and engineering students for whom this subject is rather neglected.
Course is prepared and given by an electronic engineer who has worked 28 years in heart of electronics industry, the production shop floor.
Management differs depending on from which angle you look at it.
What interests engineers is industrial management from the point of view of an engineer.
In this course that is exactly what we intend to give, industrial management from the view point of and engineer and especially electronic engineer.
The course is also suitable for anyone i nterested in management.
Engineers learn how to desing products but do not receive proper education on management.
Whereas often they find themselves in managerial positions or they find themselves being managed by managers.
In any case management concerns them and this course gives just what they need to know about industrial management.
Financial management, human resources management, quality management, project management, operations management are some of the managerial functions that we shall be covering in this course.
