In this course you will learn how to use Autodesk Vehicle Tracking (AVT) to layout parking features and illustrate traffic flow in a parking lot design. Using industry standard parking criteria and dimensions, you will outfit a parking design with parking rows consisting of a variety of bay and island configurations. You will review the common tools used to create and manipulate the parking features, then perform a quick parking report to reveal some statistics of the parking lot design. In this Course you will learn how to perform a swept path analysis using Autodesk Vehicle Tracking (AVT).
Swept path analysis, or prediction, is a useful tool to analyze and validate common vehicle maneuvers for a proposed roadway or parking lot design. Using industry standard vehicles, included with Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, you will learn to create, analyze, and validate swept paths for different vehicle locations over a proposed roadway design. You will explore options for creating and editing swept paths and review some of the optional details that can be added into your design drawings.
