Catia V5 - Solids Basic-Intermediate Training
Catia V5 training - CAD for Mechanical Engineering
What you'll learn
Gain beginner to intermediate experience on working with solids in Catia V5
Knowledge on how to correctly construct a part, suited for various engineering fields
Ability to create parts from scratch, with a clean and correct working method
Posses skills and knowledge required for an entry-level job in the Computer Aided Design fields of engineering
Requirements
A working version of Catia on your computer. No other previous skills related to Computer Aided Design required.
Description
Catia V5 is a Computer Aided Design software used in various fields of engineering and not only, that offers the possibility of creating and simulating a virtual representation (2D or 3D) of a real-life product. This course will offer you the opportunity to start as a complete beginner, with no contact with CAD software and then elevate your knowledge and skills all the way to an intermediate level. After than, not only will you hold the ability to correctly make a part and technical know-how that can be applied in real life cases, but you will posses all the necessary tools to get a job in the engineering field, or start your own freelancing gig. To achieve this, we will begin from scratch. Getting used to the Catia interface and the commands we will use represent the foundation we will build on. Then we will move on to the essential part of our training (like the Boolean Operations) which will be vital in creating correct and easy-to-modify parts. And we will finish off with exercises where all that we learned will be directly applied, with a special 1-to-1 opportunity at the end, but we will talk about this in the course.
