The following summarizes the new features and enhancements in the 2024 release of OpenSite Designer, OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer, and OpenRail Overhead Line Designer products, also referred to as OpenX Designer products. Features that are only available in specific products are indicated below.
OpenSite Designer is an application made for site design and engineering. You can create and optimize multiple design scenarios in days, not weeks. Using auto-drawing capabilities and dynamic 3D modeling, conceptualize and detail building pads, parking lots, sidewalks, streets, and other design features. OpenSite Designer includes OpenSite SITEOPS.
OpenSite, OpenRoads, and OpenRail Designer, OpenRail Overhead Line Designer are applications that supercede InRoads, GEOPAK, MX, PowerCivil for (Country), Bentley Rail Track, Power Rail Overhead Line and GeoMacao product lines. OpenX Designer products are built on “OpenRoads modeling technology” and will provide significant new design modeling, analytical modeling technology and project collaboration capabilities.
